People say that life is the thing, but I prefer reading.

Logan Pearsall Smith

Books, my companions in the awkward moments of my rather average existence, allow me to escape from reality. I do not belong to the community of people living in full swing, I’m to some degree not very demanding and a bit lethargic representative of wallflowers.

Strengthening human ties and making new friends are not my advantages. I often misjudge people’s intentions, which results in my weak commitment to socialising. Consequently, out of stress, I make faux pas or talk nonsense. In this kind of situation, the only thing left for me is to escape. Quietly, preferably backwards through the toilet window (appropriately sized window). Regardless of my exceptional imagination, I’m trying my best to be responsible grown up.

Reading gives me a sense of freedom and lightness.  The tension disappears, and the only thing left for me to do is dive into the next story and savour the different world…
